FlowPay pagoPA

FlowPay’s pagoPA solution enables partners such as software providers, management software platforms, digital platforms, and businesses to integrate payments of notices issued by Italian Public Administrations directly into their systems via API.

FlowPay operates in a dual role. As an authorized TPP (Third Party Provider), it enables the Payment Initiation Service to initiate account-to-account payments directly from the payer’s bank account, subject to Strong Customer Authentication (SCA). As a PSP (Payment Service Provider) connected to the pagoPA network, FlowPay manages the entire end-to-end flow: it verifies that the payment notice is payable, collects the funds, marks the notice as paid, issues the receipt, and handles the transfer of funds to the creditor entity.

The partner can create a checkout for one or more pagoPA payment notices, either provided by the partner itself or entered by the payer. The user reviews the payment summary and selects one of the payment methods supported by FlowPay: Payment Initiation, card, BANCOMAT Pay, or SDD. The service can be embedded directly into the partner’s digital experience, allowing the payer to complete the transaction without leaving the platform or management software they are using.

FlowPay automates the management of pagoPA payment flows and reduces operational complexity for the partner, enabling it to offer customers an integrated, secure, and customizable payment service.
