FlowPay Open Banking & Payment Solutions

FlowPay is a payment institution authorized by the Bank of Italy and, since 2025, part of the BANCOMAT Group. It holds licenses to provide Account Information Services (AISP), Payment Initiation Services (PISP), payment execution services, and to issue payment instruments.

FlowPay’s offering is structured around two main areas:

Account Information Service (AIS): solutions for the secure access to and use of banking data, including account aggregation, cash flow management, multi-account and multi-bank services, and Check IBAN. These capabilities can support specific business cases, such as spending and cash flow analysis, identification of failed or overdue payments, and automated reconciliation of incoming payments.

Payment Services: solutions delivered through a single, modular API, designed to integrate directly into the partner’s systems and processes. Services include Payment Initiation, advanced payment solutions - bulk, split, and conditional payments - tokenization for recurring payments, direct management of pagoPA payment notices, card and SDD payments, and the orchestration of complex flows through technical accounts. Integrated, centralized AML compliance solutions simplify regulatory management across different payment flows.

Thanks to its proprietary technology, API-first approach, and regulatory licenses, FlowPay can develop pilot projects tailored to the partner’s specific requirements, creating value-added services that have already been validated across multiple industries, including financial services, institutions, ERP providers and software companies, fintech, marketplaces, utilities, and the fuel sector.

In its role as the product development hub of the BANCOMAT Group, FlowPay is also involved in the development and integration of new technologies supporting the evolution of digital payments in Italy and payment interoperability at European level.
