Warta4U: a new connected insurance program starts in Poland

Can telematics provide a safe driving program, providing drivers with feedback on the most important risk factors, such as speed, acceleration, braking, cornering, and phone distraction?

Warta4U is a new program that started off in Poland and will investigate this usage of the data extracted by connected cars. Launched by Warta, a motor insurer in Poland, and Cambridge Mobile Telematics, the program will focus on young drivers for the first phase.

Telematics improves the safety of driving

According to Cambridge Mobile Telematics data, receiving feedback like risk scores help drivers reduce dangerous behaviours. Braking risk, for example, has reduced by 15% in a couple of months.

When drivers open their safe driving app for more than three times a week, just to mention another example, they become 65% safer and 57% less distracted.

Cambridge Mobile Telematics affirms their safe driving programs have reduced crash frequency by 24% and fuel consumption by up to 25%.

The Warta4U project in Poland

Warta4u is available in four provinces of Poland and will be extended nationwide by October 2023.

The dedicated app, Warta4U, is available for Apple and Android devices, but only for Warta customers who have enrolled in the program.
